This is an excerpt from a
piece that was started in Hobart in late 2005 and on a self funded
residency
to Raw Space in Brisbane in early 2006 I completed this work.
‘Smoke and Mirrors’, is a video projection
onto small round mirrors that included text based on lies that had been
told to individuals that at the time
they believed to be the truth.
It was shown at Raw Space in January 2006 at the conclusion of the
residency and later
that year in the 'Text Me' group exhibition at Devonport Regional
Gallery, Devonport, Tasmania.
